I am the youngest of five, and my parents instilled in us the importance of never giving up on a goal. You are never too old to pursue your dream. They believed hard work and perseverance are life's change makers! Even though they had five children my mom supported Dad while he earned his Bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University, Class of 1970.

I am SO lucky to have been able to travel with Mom on a Viking Ocean cruise in the summer of 2016. The cruise was on her bucket list. The trip was amazing--a trip of a lifetime, truly. We lost her to colon cancer just a few months later. Miss you, Mom. (In Stockholm, Sweden)
